SAMUEL IS A DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY BASED IN COLOGNE, GERMANY. AFTER TRAINING AS A MEDIA DESIGNER, HE BEGAN WORKING AS A FREELANCER DP ON A WIDE RANGE OF COMMERCIALS AND MUSIC VIDEOS. HIS STUDIES IN CINEMATOGRAPHY AT THE IFS INTERNATIONALE FILMSCHULE KÖLN FURTHER SHAPED HIS VISUAL APPROACH, DEEPENING HIS ABILITY TO VISUALLY TELL STORIES ACROSS BOTH FEATURE FILMS AND DOCUMENTARIES.
He is particularly drawn to projects with social and political resonance, using film as a way to explore the complexities of contemporary society. His visual style has evolved through experience across diverse genres, combining authentic, depth-driven narrative storytelling with a sharp sense for brand aesthetics and contemporary visual styles from commercial and music video work - always in search of fresh perspectives and thoughtful, distinctive images.
